Programs - Food Pantry/Baked Goods Distribution
ST. JOHN'S/LUM FOOD PANTRY
The St. John's/LUM Food Pantry is the largest volume food pantry in west central Indiana. Open four mornings a week, the pantry provides emergency food to hungry children and adults. Volunteers staff the pantry, purchase food, and keep the facility stocked and clean.
Location: St. John's Episcopal Church at the corner of 6th Street and Ferry Street in downtown Lafayette. Entrance to the Food Pantry is on 6th Street. Look for the green canopy over the red door.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, 9:00am-11:30am
BAKED GOODS DISTRIBUTION
Day-old bakery and produce items provide an abundant variety of foods to many low-income families each week. This program takes place each week at First Baptist Church. Food Finders Food Bank provides the baked goods, while volunteers load, haul, unload, and distribute the items.
